As the Dalles Ranch is about two hours from Portland, we encourage you to consider staying overnight if you're able.

There are a number of reasonable options within 30 minutes of the Ranch. The Hood River Valley is a popular destination at this time of year, so you will want to book well in advance. The Dalles and Dufur also have several lovely accommodations.
